This photograph shows the San Francisco Seal Lions 17 members baseball team. The San Francisco Seal Lions were members of the West Coast Negro Baseball League, a league composed of six teams that operated during the 1946 season. The teams would play in ball parks used by members of the Pacific Coast League when those teams were playing away games.
