I am interested in showing how contemporary America at the turn of the century and throughout have documented immigration through the use of photography. This exhibit allows to showcase a unique lens from the photographer.

Japanese immigrant workers
I can't imagine what it would have been like to be foreign born and in a new country where tolerance was minimal and yet resiliency was at the forefront of many of these people. I admire their courage and strength during such unique times.

I am an immigrant from South America, my face is my historical roadmap and my heritage shows through my skin. I am proud to be an immigrant with a strong sense of identity to my past.
