This is a poster created by the Western Defense Command and Forth Army Wartime Civil Control Administration instructing all person’s of Japanese ancestry living in a particular area of San Francisco, California to be prepared for evacuation. Listed among the property items the evacuees are instructed to carry with them are bedding and linen, toilet articles, extra clothing, utensils, and essential personal effects.
